Claydon first came into being in 1970 when Claydon Associates was established, and later in the mid seventies Frank Wood was acquired and Claydon Aluminium formed. These companies, together with Claydon Holdings, make up the Claydon Group.

The three trading companies benefit from the administration, marketing and general support provided by the parent company, Claydon Holdings Limited.
