RECENT AWARDS include Considerate Constructors
Scheme 2003 Award Winner for conversion of barns and outbuildings
to Offices at Park Farm, Middleton Stoney. Architects for the project
- Cumming Architects. The citation read as follows:-
"A development which
converted a large farmyard containing particularly attractive barns
into office units. This was a remote site where standards
could easily have slipped.
In fact, the reverse was the case and
high standards of care and people and the environment were uppermost
and it was handled with great consideration. Although the
work was done through an extremely wet period, access to this rural
site and beyond was maintained in a clean state. The site
signs were well presented off a rather dangerous road.
Neighbours, however remote, were kept
informed of site movements. The boundaries were kept neatly
and the development well contained."
Malcolm Dean Award 2002 Commended for conversion and extensions
at 20-26 Spittal Street, Marlow. Architects for the project
- Brocklehurst Architects.
